Michelle has been an artist and art instructor for over 20 years. She has been a visual artist in the ArtsCare Program through Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center since 2011. Her main assignment is the Dialysis Unit and occasionally the Mental Health Inpatient Unit. Michelle has had chronic pain for over 25 years, and says art is a great therapy/distraction from pain and the depression that can come with it. She feels it helps her relate to the patients she works with.

Michelle also served on the board of a local art studio, Maxtivity for several years. She teaches there as well and volunteers for the studio as much as possible. She is a member of the Corvallis Art Guild and the Corvallis Arts Center.

She also teaches a variety of classes including watercolor, paper making, mixed media, alcohol ink, flower pressing, art journaling, scrapbooking and more. She enjoys teaching all age groups but especially loves working with children (and her Early Childhood Education experience comes in handy!)

Michelle is married to Michael, an artist as well. Between them they have three daughters. They enjoy creating art in the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
